Week 9 BC.com Power Rankings

Postby dusters on Nov 1st, 2011, 9:30 pm

1. Packers- The Packers were able to get healthy on the bye week.

2. Patriots- Even though they lost the way they did. Lets not forget they're still the Patriots.

3. Steelers- All of a sudden the Steelers look like they might be the best team in the AFC.

4. 49'ers- The Niners continue to roll. Who woulda thought, 6-1?

5. Ravens- Flacco needs to figure it out.

6. Saints- Drew Brees has more ints. than any other QB in the past two years.

7. Lions- Tebow wasn't much of a problem for the Lions.

8. Bills- Congratulations, you beat the Redskins!

9. Texans- Arian Foster keeps on rolling.

10. Giants- At least one Manning is playing under center and helping his team.

11. Jets- Bye week. Not to mention, Rex Ryan didn't open his mouth this week. Thats a win in my book.

12. Bengals- Can the Bengals keep up this pace?

13. Falcons- The Falcons are right back in the playoff race.

14. Eagles- Impressed me with a beatdown of the Cowboys. Although, thats not saying much.

15. Bears-- A big match-up at Philly.

16. Bucs- Lets see if Josh Freeman can fix things after the bye week.

17. Chargers- Will the real Philip Rivers please stand up.

18. Raiders- Can Palmer save the Raiders season? Teams will stack 8 against McFadden until then.

19. Chiefs- Thank you Philip Rivers. From 0-3 to 4-3, and 1st in the AFC West.

20. Titans- Chris Johnson looks absolutely horrible right now.

21. Cowboys- They look good on paper but awful in the 3-dimensional world.

22. Redskins- Ugly.

23. Panthers- A lot of close losses so far for the Panthers.

24. Vikings- The AP show.

25. Browns- They really need Peyton Hillis back.

26. Rams- Shocker of the season beating New Orleans. Some of that Cardinal magic rubbing off.

27. Jaguars-Blaine Gabbert still looks bad.

28. Seahawks- The 12th man didn't work this time! You really do need a real QB.

29. Cardinals- These Cardinals just aren't very good. Blowing a 24-3 lead against Baltimore? C'Mon Man!

30. Broncos- They asked for Tebow and they got him. Tebow doesn't play defense though.

31. Dolphins- "Suck for Luck"

32. Colts- They have been outscored by 131 points so far this season.

How the heck did you guys put New England ahead of Pittsburgh? Am I the only one who put Pittsburgh #2? I'm confused.

Agreed. Yes, it was one game, but Pittsburgh was without some key players, and that was a flat out domination. Game wasn't nearly as close as the final score indicated. Literally over twice the total yards. Until they went into hurry-up mode at the end of the game, Patriots had 150 yards.

Eagles are about to go off..

They will be cracking the top 5 in the next few weeks. Giants are about to fall out of top 10.

The team I am most interested to watch is the Bills. Two games against the Jets coming up, these will determine just how real they are.
Accomplishments:
2010 - NFL Pick'em regular season & playoff champion
2011 - BC Dynasty Baseball league regular season champion

Words of Wisdom:
(1) You can only speak in absolutes if your name begins with "Fan." (2)Strikeouts are not of any importance for hitters; however, high K's for a pitcher are.

Me and you had them 2, IP had them 4. They tied with NE so I gave the tiebreaker to the team who was ranked higher last week.
