Week 8 BC.com Power Rankings

Postby dusters on Oct 25th, 2011, 9:13 pm

1. Packers- That Aaron Rodgers guy is pretty good.

2. Patriots- Big match-up with the Steelers coming off the bye week.

3. Saints-62-7? Holy shit. The Saints are regaining that Super Bowl form.

4. 49'ers- Sitting pretty at the Bye.

5. Steelers- Another sloppy win.

6. Ravens- What happened to the offense?

7. Lions- So much for Lions being an elite team.

8. Bills- Lets see if they can regain momentum coming off the bye week.

9. Chargers- Cry me a Rivers. He was bad.

10. Texans- Finally the Texans have a statement win. Foster is a beast. With Andre coming back, look out.

11. Giants- They haven't looked great, but they still sit at the top of their division.

12. Jets- They finally beat a decent team.

13. Raiders- Got absolutely destroyed by the Chiefs at home. Unacceptable.

14. Falcons- Huge road victory over Detroit. Atlanta looks to be getting some swag back.

15. Bucs'- Tampa fans must be confused. The Bucs better get Blount back, or their offense is stuck.

16. Bears- Another solid win for the surging Bears.

17. Bengals-I didn't think the Bengals would win 4 games all year, let alone by week 7.

18. Cowboys- Big match-up vs. the Eagles.

19. Titans- Ouch. What a beatdown at home against Houston. Chris Johnson must still be holding out.

20. Eagles- Can the Eagles turn this thing around?

21. Chiefs- After an awful start to the season, the Chiefs have won 3 straight.

22. Redskins- QB troubles continue.

23. Panthers- Finally the Panthers win a game and don't just come close. Newton for ROY.

24. Jaguars- Surprising win over Baltimore. The offense still is pretty bad, probably just a fluke win.

25. Cardinals- Meh.

26. Browns- McCoy throwing the ball 40 times a game ins't the answer.

27. Broncos- They won with a miraculous comeback but dropped in my rankings. Tebow isn't good.

28. Vikings- Ponder looks like he could be a solid starting QB.

29. Seahawks- Lost a 6-3 game to the Browns. Talk about ugly.

30. Rams- Biggest shocker of the year. I didn't expect the Rams to be 0-6.

31. Dolphins- Suck for Luck.

32. Colts- Wow, does Peyton matter THAT much? I highly doubt it. The Colts should be embarrassed.

Peyton Manning is the only competitor for MVP in my book. The Packers would not be 0-7 without Rodgers.

Manning doesn't play defense does he? The team is simply not good with or without Manning. It's still impressive how much of difference one player can make.

It really makes you wonder why the Colts never really tried to get themselves a viable backup to Manning. Green Bay always had backups for Favre and the Patriots have backups for Brady. I blame the GM more than Manning's injury.

No defense will kae up for the fact that they scored 7 points against the mediocre Saints defense.

The worst part for Indy is Manning might never return to his old self. Or even at all. That's a real possibility.

Maybe that's why they are sucking so hard. They know Manning is finish and NEED Luck.

Our 2010 defense would have on four separate occasions.

Since Manning isn't a player this year, he shouldn't even be eligible for the award. And with Manning, I think the Colts win maybe 7 or 8 games.
