Matt Schaub out for season

Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub will miss the rest of the season with a Lisfranc injury, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Devastating news for the Texans and their fans. Right now the best record in the AFC and this happens? Wow. Teams can just stack the box and defend the run heavy now with Leinart back there. Leinart needs to step up for once in his NFL "career" and make something of himself.

Wow. And now the AFC South joins the AFC West as being jokes of a division. Two game lead though and some easy games left on the schedule (at Jacksonville, vs. Carolina, at Indy, and vs. Tennessee) means they could still sneak into the playoffs, though they probably don't scare many teams with Leinart under center.
