#SCNFL - Breaking News: Jeff Fisher agrees to become @STLouisRams head coach

As reported on ESPN at the top of the hour, Jeff Fisher has agreed to coach the Rams.

Jeff Fisher will coach the St. Louis Rams this season, a league source tells ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Fisher also was a strong candidate to fill the Miami Dolphins' opening.

Fisher sat out the entire 2011 season after being fired by the Tennessee Titans in January. He had served as coach of the franchise for 16 full seasons, including before the Titans moved from Houston to Tennessee.

St. Louis is replacing coach Steve Spagnuolo and general manager Billy Devaney after a 2-14 season.
