Meant to start this as soon as FA started but I've been busier than hell with real-life stuff. Started back to school for my Bachelor's Degree after recieving my Associates, trying to find a new job and save for a car after I accomplish that.

Well here's what we've done so far:

Fixed a MAJOR problem and rebuilt our defense from the ground up (Posluzny and Session new LB's, Dawan Landry at safety) Add that to a healthy Aaron Kampmann and this year QB's won't be able to sit there and build a tent and toast marshmallows while they're deciding how to carve our secondary up like a roast.

Lost Mike Sims-Walker to FA, ouch but he didnt want to be with us anyway so meh.

Re-signed Marcedes Lewis $35M/5 years NICE!!!!! Dude will be the second-coming of Antonio Gates book it!

Amen Stache, Garrard's on a tight leash after him basically costing us the playoffs past 2 seasons by single-handedly losing 2 games that if we win we get in then who knows. Those games were 09 vs IND when we were driving late down only 35-31 against the 12-0 Colts and Garrard throws one a mile over Holt's head for a pick to seal it. Then last year he forces a throw into double coverage vs the Skins in week 16 inside our own 25 in OT in a win and we're in game

So if he doesn't make that throw in 2009, the Jags definitely win that game? And if they win that game, they also win AT LEAST one more game that season that would have been needed to make the playoffs, since they were 2 games away from being in a big mess of teams tied for the 6th spot?

Well in the 09 game vs indy yeah we would have cause while we couldnt stop them, they couldnt stop us either we were on their 20 in less than 2 minutes in the end. Last years game against the Skins should not have came down to that but hes been in the league long enough to know you have to either take a sack or throw it into the stands on that play. He thought he was Peyton Manning or Brett Favre and could zoom it in there and he aint got that kind of velocity.

The Pack's run last year was awesome (cost me some dough in the process fml) Anyway, just like when the Steelers went from the bottom to the title I believe the Packers will suffer the same fate as the Steelers did that following year. They're going to reach for that magic and it won't be there. I ain't saying they ain't talented cause that would be asinine of me to say that but talented teams don't always win.

Alright alright enough about the Packers this is a JAGUARS thread. Was just tryin to stir some stuff up before seaon started that wasn't an invite to trolls who hate me to bring up the same old shit and to twist my words around.

Now back to the team that this thread was SUPPOSED to talk about. First preseason game tonight @ the Pats. We'll probably get smoked but its preseason doesn't really matter I'm interested to see how Gabbert does because he is our future.
