Spring Training....

Postby medicalgary33 on Jan 31st, 2012, 3:38 pm

Any of you guys going to be down this way for any games this year? I know I hit up my share of games around the valley, and get to work at Maryvale for Brewers games.

You know, I've been so cheap for so long, counting pennies putting every dime back in that I think this year I might actually fly down for a week or so...maybe meet up with BD and you and either beat the shit out of your, or realize you're not suck dicks and get blasted and beat the shit out some Cubs fans :D

Obviously not serious about the first part...and....well...mainly not serious about the 2nd.

I don't know about this year.. Probably, but I got a couple of destination weddings this spring so it depends on timing..

For those who haven't done it, I highly recommend it.. Tickets to sit right behind the plate or Brewers dugout are dirtcheap.. I typically stay in a shit hotel for #30 a night since I don't have to worry about my wife bitching... So the whole thing is just cheap and fun.

Or we can pretend that Angel fans are Cardinal fans as they have Albert now, and just beat the shit out of some of them.

Let me know. It is a blast down here, and seeing some of the unknowns make a name for themselves. All the stadiums are within about an hour of each other, so its easy to get around

I won't know until it gets closer to the date though.

I've pretty much broken off on my own, and despite Chukk's just...ridiculous guess about my Grandpa "selling off farm land for half the price and be being a trust fund kid," I have taken everything I have(and I did recieve SOME money as my Grandpa was successful at starting up one of the larger companies in Wisconsin(with partners and was not even close to the majority owner, so we're not talking about millions here, we're talking about much less than that), I've taken out loans from family and business loans, so I have to be absolutely certain that absolutely everything.

Basically I'm at the point where things are looking very good right now, but a couple months from now, who knows. It's very new, and it's my entire future.

So I think I'll be able to make it down and I hope I'll be able to, just not certain I willl be able to.

Or we can just tail Pujols home and go all Gambino on his ass like we're from the South Side. Beating up Los Angels Angels of Aneheim fans just feels too much like going to an elementary school and beating up the 6th graders. And not even the tough ones.

Blah blah blah...... Chukks story as you are some Gerber Baby from the Ford Era, who gets free benefits because your dad was fighting when 11/11/11 hit, doesnt matter.

Just get here, lets fucking drink, and cock slap Pujols.

Yeah, I don't really get that either.

My Dad never served, don't know what 11/11/11 is, and I don't get the Gerber Baby-ford reference.

My story is simple and SOMEWHAT privledged. My Grandpa was wildy successful, retired very young, spent a LOT of his money, had a large family when he and then my Grandma died, I got a little bit, took that bought some properties, then with the bank and my fathers really went all in, and now am running them and it's too early in the process and I have too little capital to be 100 pct confident that I'm always worrying about not staying close to capacity that I do all the bitch work myself still. Across the board.

At least for another year or two.

I'd rather miss out for a few years now and enjoy the rest than work in a fucking Gyro shop and answer to my fat wifes Dadddy.

This is all totally irrelevant, I got way off the topic last night. Point is I think I'm coming, but not ready to 100 pct committ.

If I can get Braun to sign over Ken Macha's autograph, I might consider my life to be complete.
