Is quietly back down to his usual free-swinging ways and .288 OBP, looking like the same guy we've known for 3 years who is good for elite defense, pinch-running, and that's about it.

This is why I resist the temptation to ever get excited about him when his AB's look "different".

Too bad Fan isn't still hear to tell us to stop looking at stats on the internet and start watching his ABs.

He is coming off an injury, so you have to take that into consideration. And while a .693 OPS certainly isn't good, it would still be an improvement.
