It isnt as bad as it sounds. The first game he threw only 4 pitches. So thats nothing. Then the second game he lasted only 3 innings. Then had 4 days off. Normal rest. So I dont see where the problem lies

Its somewhere between what you are both saying. Only throwing 4 pitches isn't nothing. There is a lot of warmup and routine that goes into a start.
