9-28 GT: The day we take the WC!!

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

This is what we have been waited for, and for some of you, your entire lives.......CC is on the mound......Cubs have their regular players......which if we are going to FINALLY make it......what better way to start off the post season with a stomping of the real deal Cubs team.

Lineups will be posted when available.

Today....is the future of the Milwaukee Brewers:

Keys to victory:

1. CC needs to come up big.

I know in some big game situations he has fallen short, however today is the true test on whether he wants post season in WI or not.

2. Bats need to speak loud early.

Seems like lately the Brewers do not do any damage until late....and sometimes a little too late. If we can jump out and grab an early lead and let CC take control of the strike zone, the game is in the bag.

3. Corey Hart needs to sit.

I don't know why when the guy has had the worst slump of his career, you don't stick even TGJ out there who is a lefty, close in speed and a good contact hitter. Hart just has no clue what's going on right now and I love the guy, but today is not the day to take a chance on him.

4. Start CC at 3rd.

Nothing again hall other then I love the lefties and CC has more of a plate discipline and is better in the clutch then Bill Hall except for the 1 or 2 walk offs back in STL he had. CC knows what making the post season is like....and thats the guy I go for.

5. Play the small ball/Improve the RISP that actually score!!

Don't try for a HR every at bat. If we get the chance to bunt a guy over from 2nd to 3rd with 1 out.....I say do it.....and most importantly, when you get guys on base, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

All in all, it's been a great season with many ups and downs. We dramatically improved record wise so no being upset about that. I want this win as bad as anyone but face it. We are facing the best NL team out there and if it's meant to be our time this year, it'll happen.

Everyone have fun, relax the nerves a little and lets see the Brew Crew let WI party like its.........well shit party like the drunks we are!!!

adminnote:Admin Note: We're going to the motherfucking playoffs...enough said!

This is it
By Tom Haudricourt

Well, it's down to game No. 162 for the Brewers. They enter play today tied with the Mets for the wild-card lead. They'll either get in, be eliminated or head to New York for a one-game tiebreaker tomorrow.

Here's the Brewers' lineup against the Cubs, who are starting reliever Angel Guzman and following him with a bunch of other relievers, I would imagine:

CF Mike Cameron
2B Ray Durham
LF Ryan Braun
1B Prince Fielder
SS J.J. Hardy
RF Corey Hart
3B Craig Counsell
C Jason Kendall
LHP CC Sabathia

Gametime 1:05PM Central

Sabathia (16-10, 2.80)
Guzman (0-0, 7.04)

Basically everything that Swizzul said, I agree with. There just isn't much left to talk about at this point. I really don't know how many chances people normally get in life, but with the season on the line I hope you let us forget about everything else up to now Hart and Hall (who may pinch hit). Clutch is what defines the postseason...this game feels like a game 7. We are going to need some clutch hits. Someone please oblige.

Around the league:

Florida at NY: Gametime 12:10PM Central
FLA: Olsen (8-11, 4.23)
NYM: Perez (10-7, 4.25)

Olsen, sure we hate your guts but you will earn a pass from me if you can gut out a quality start or better. Perez, please walk the bases loaded every inning. I hope you trip and break your shit everytime you do that little skip hop over the first base line. And don't forget last time you went on short rest, you fucking sucked. Repeat performance please.

Normally I would be counting down to the Packers game, which I still will be watching, but I am looking forward to the Mets-Fish game to start. And of course the Brewers game.

Just win baby!

Lots of rain out in NY for their game, we might have to wait and watch the Mets lose after our game

Damnit, Fredi Gonzalez is not starting Hanley Ramirez today (probably as a weather precaution). If their game gets rained out and pushed to tomorrow, it would give Gallardo 4 days of rest if need be. But I think the Mets lose with Perez out there on short rest, so let's hope they get that game in.
