Rodgers looks so sharp. Also, I usually don't buy into things like this, but after watching last night, i can see what Rodgers was saying about the change in the teams confidence. Last year they seemed confident, but cocky, like Rodgers said. This year, there seems to be more substance behind their confidence.

Yeah, the defense was a little rough, but they were playing the Colts. Giving up 24 to the Colts isn't really a big deal, especially when you're leading 28-17 at the half.

Im trying to stay calm about this considering the injuries in the secondary and the vanilla style so far. It seems like teams are going to hit some homeruns against them until they get their shit together. The concerning thing though is the lack of cohesiveness.

All we need is a C+ defense until the play-offs. Rodgers, 4 hard assed receivers, a little running game will get us by. I mean, the Colts defense is nothing to sneeze at, and these guys put up 28 points.

seriously, this offense is basically like playing a video game. who do you even attempt to double team? ever? jennings? well then finley and driver get single coverage. double finley and jennings and driver are open, ect. not to mention the fact we still have jordy and james running around. i would almost venture to say that receivers 1-4 plus finley might be the best receiving corp in the NFL. Its definately the best i have ever seen the packers with.

I think this might be the best offense the Packers have had during my lifetime. Favre was good, but he never really ever had more than 2 quality receivers. Rodgers is more technically sound than Favre, and has 5+ weapons.

The 4 WR set with Jermichael in one slot and Driver in the other. Unstopable.
Accomplishments:
2010 - NFL Pick'em regular season & playoff champion
2011 - BC Dynasty Baseball league regular season champion

Link of me not cheering for the Packers or A-Rodg?

I like Favre, but he's second fiddle to my team.

I think we've got the BEST TE grouping in the NFL. That may be premature based on how young they are, but lets say for the sake of argument they go with Finley, Crabtree and Quarless.

Finley and Quarless are just un-fucking-stoppable 1 on 1. Crabtree's such a beast blocking it's not even fair. I can say without any doubt he's the best blocking TE I've ever seen on this team.

As for WR, they've got 4 good solid #2 WR's.

Jennings isn't a top #1 IMO, but he doesn't need to be. All 4 are very good and dependable. Jones is the 4th, and he's about as close to Sharpe as we've had since Sterling.

Just awesome group.

I still would like to see a game breaking RB, but we don't NEED one.

It may not even be as good as a 2 WR set with Finley and Crabtree as the TE's.

Finely's turned into one helluva blocking TE and Crabtree.....dude's just unreal how he manhandles some DE's.

And he's a solid pass catcher, though we haven't seen a ton in regular season action just yet.

But Jennings wide Right, Driver Wide left, Finley on the right side, Crabtree on the Left Side and Grant in the backfield makes this team COMPLETELY unpredictable.

Substitute Quarless for Crabtree as his blocking is also much better than they thought it'd be, and he's as athletic as Finley and the passing becomes even MORE difficult to defend.

It may sound stupid, but how those guys, Finley and Quarless, develop as blockers will go a long way to deciding how effective this team will be in shorter yardage situations. 2nd and 4 with that set, and those two are both REALLY good blockers, and how the FUCK do you stop it? That's 4 incredible receivers out there, and with Bulaga in there at LG a MUCH improved run blocking line.

Again, not to belabor as Grant's very solid, but just IMAGINE having a guy like CJ Spiller back there at RB as well? Not that we should have taken him even had he slipped over Bulaga, but just a "for instance".

Yeah, I was a little fucking dumbfounded by that. How the FUCK does a UDFA rookie TE DOMINATE a 1st round DE like Jerry Hughes?

I kept hearing how he was beating all these guys in one on one blocking drills, but until you actually see it, it's pretty hard to believe.

He was absolutely amazing.

I almost wonder if that's better than having a dominating #1 WR.

Seriously, if we had lets say a guy like Andre Johnson and then 3 guys like Driver, Nelson and Jones, would Rodgers just look for Johnson that much?

Or are we better having 4 guys who are ALMOST equal, obviously Jennings is better than the other 3, but he's still not a true, elite #1...kinda like how Yo's not a true elite ace just yet. He's a VERY good 2 though.

I tried to temper my enthusiasm for this team, but with those 4, and then Jermichael Finley, I just can't do it anymore. AND an OL that can block a little bit?

Now you guys know how I feel. Isn't it great to know that maybe only a handful of teams can keep up with your offense?
