Packers & the over/under

Postby RetardRon on Sep 8th, 2010, 3:39 pm

I'm going over every game this year no matter the line. Lets keep track of it here.

Week 1 vs Eagles - 47
Accomplishments:
2010 - NFL Pick'em regular season & playoff champion
2011 - BC Dynasty Baseball league regular season champion

Words of Wisdom:
(1) You can only speak in absolutes if your name begins with "Fan." (2)Strikeouts are not of any importance for hitters; however, high K's for a pitcher are.

Not in Vegas. That's a push.

Hmm....I'm not sure I follow.

A push isn't a win or a loss in Vegas in sports. My local bookie has it as nothing in the NFL and MLB but a loss in NBA(which is bullshit, but he also has you LOSING if you push ONE of a parlay...but...whaddya gonna do...).

Its a loss. thats why you have to shop around for that 1/2 point. On parlays, its a loss unless you play a ties win card, witch of course pays less.

Pushes are losses for you? I've never bet where pushes are losses. Then again....I've never been to Vegas. I assumed it was just betting protocol....

Mine are always pushes.....

But like I said, I've only placed bets 3rd party in Vegas and online, but MOSTLY via a local bookie.

No, Over/Unders on NFL games.

A 3 team parlay that pushes in 1 goes to a 2 teamer online and I thought that's how most places in Vegas were.

No... ties lose on parlay unless you play the ties win card.... at lesser pay outs.
