OSHKOSH, Wis. -- Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin's son is missing.
Police in Oshkosh say 21-year-old Michael T. Philbin of Ripon was last heard from around 2 a.m. Sunday. He had been visiting friends in Oshkosh that evening. He was reported missing on Sunday evening.
A police spokesman did not immediately return a message left Monday seeking additional comment.
A Brown County judge sentenced Michael Philbin to six months in jail in 2009 after he was convicted of sexually assaulting two young girls and two counts of battery.
His disappearance comes as the Packers prepare to face the New York Giants in an NFC playoff game Sunday in Green Bay.

So are they saying he is possibly jumping ship to avoid a sentence from 2 years ago.... or did they just throw in this random dirt for no reason?

"In March 2009, Michael Philbin, who attended Green Bay Southwestern High School, was found guilty of two counts of having sexual intercourse with a child over the age of 16, and two counts of battery stemming from an incident in August 2008.
Michael Philbin was sentenced to six months in jail on the battery charges. He was placed on probation for 30 months on the sexual intercourse charge.
Why the fuck do they keep including this? How the FUCK is this related to possibly falling through the ice? Scumbags.

I agree. Someone should write an article about the author and harp on his DUI in 2006. Reiterating a misdemeanor conviction of a guy who is missing at best and dead at worst is completely tasteless and adds absolutely nothing other than causing additional pain for the families.

Sounds like it was the same serial killer that was offing all those early twenty somethings over in La Crosse...

No fucking kidding. If this is his kid, every goddamn article has to drum this up to make him look like a rapist when it's pretty clear that he didn't RAPE these girls, he was a few months too old to be having sex with them. That law has been mis-used so fucking badly it's not even funny. There is nothing worse than being labeled as a sexual predator or sex offender and yet you have kids who fucked their HS GF being labeled that for the rest of their goddamn lives despite the fact that last week it was just fine, but now they turned 18 and their GF isn't yet 17. But yeah, lets try to make the family relive this as much as possible. Totally pertinent to an accidental drowning.

I REALLY hope you're mocking the LaCrosse "serial killer," story, right? I went to one of those funerals(not that it makes me an expert on it or anything), but I knew the wrestler who died from Hartland pretty well. He wasn't murdered. Guy get fucking drunk as shit, piss in the river and fall in, and the current is strong as shit there. The reason there are no girls? They don't have dicks and they don't piss outside. Once you go in where they went in, you're not getting back out. Simple as that.

Kudos to you for calling them out on their shit BD.
Like Fan said most likely scenario is when Philbin was an 18 or 19 year old kid and had sex with his 17 year old girlfriend, which if we are honest I guarantee that a lot of us have done it.
Them he pissed off the family somehow, they pressed charges, and then in an article about his disappearance/possible death, they paint him out to be a sex predator. Disgusting.

Of course I'm mocking it. But, thanks for pretending to be dense so you could give us your (unwanted) opinion and include a useless story.

It's tough some times, you are often pretty dense, and I could honestly see you buying into the whole LaCrosse serial killer thing...
