Finley talking smack

Weird. I don't see how the Saints got brought into this. They haven't said anything, they just go about their business quietly. Seems silly to start something with your first opponent unprovoked.

And the Packers have been getting lots of love. The Eagles are over hyped but the Pack have been getting plenty of recognition. I don't think many have been placing NO above them.

I really am trying hard to like this kid, but he is a immature punk.

Memo to J-Fin.

1 - Shut your fucking mouth.
2 - Quit acting like your Tony Gonzo. You really have not accomplished shit, YET.
3 - Keep up your current routine and you will be known as T.O. JR. Well, T.O was able to stay on the field for full seasons, so maybe that's being too generousness.

It's just never ending with this kid.

1 - Rookie year he calls out A-Rodg.
2 - After injury he tweets he will never attempt to tackle again.
3 - Gets involved in the public crying over SB picture.

and on and on and on.... IF this mother fucker starts demanding the ball and crying this year, I am going to lose it. Donald D needs to take this kid by the scruff, sit him down, and give him a stern talk.

Love me some J-Mike! Don't usually like athletes who talke shit (especially when they're young and fairly unproven), but he's so damned talented, I don't mind smack-talk.

Now, he's just gotta stay healthy...

Is that how he got the ass bruise?

I do think that J-Fin definitely has the talent. Once he pulls his head out of his ass, he can be a game changer. Same thing with RW on the Bears. He already knows the Offense, he just has to stop hotdoggin' it and play some ball.

-praying- please make him stop acting like he's won the SB single-handedly every time he gets a motherfucking 1st down.

Good luck to you guys this year. The NFC N should be tough. Hope it can be a repeat of the NFC Champ game last year...but with different results. We owe you guys some payback.

Take care, guys.

sorry, but finley is more talented than roy williams will ever be. Finley doesnt routinely drop 5-6 passes a game and simply disappear.

Not that Finley doesn't have a big mouth, but he was directly asked a question about the Saints and Eagles getting more hype and answered the question basically by saying it was all talk and on paper, pretty much exactly the way I would have thought he'd answer it.

It's not like he went out of his way to talk shit about the Saints.

Didn't hear the question, but if this is true, then I 100% support what Finley said. I agree with a lot of the ESPN guys whenever comments make the news, that everybody moans and groans when a player gives the canned response, but if a player goes out on a limb and actually answers a question he gets blasted by the media, and it is just ridiculous.

If this was a random tweet by him that said Saints and Eagles are all hype, then yes it's stupid. If a reporter asked him about the offseason moves by the Eagles and the Saints (though they haven't made much noise except for losing Bush), then it's fine by me.

The irony is that J-Mike is all hype at this point. The guy has a world of potential, but thats all he is at this point. Save the lip service for when you actually accomplish something.

As far as moaning and groaning about canned responses that do not provide bulletin board material, you never heard me complain. Also, the guy has a history of running his mouth. If it was Woodson, Driver or any other Veteran, and contributor of the SB win, then it wouldn't be so annoying. They have earned the right to call other teams hype, J-Mike has not.
