Barbre is out, no surprise there. Toribio is out, the JSOnline really liked him. He's going to the practice squad though once he clears. Talley, too. Alex Joseph. Chery and Dillon are gone, no real surprises there. There are some minor surprises though....Lumpkin and Obiozor are gone. And the bigger names gone -- Blackmon is cut, and Havner is going to be cut if they can't trade him. Evan Dietrich-Smith is gone, either by cut or trade.
Zombo has made the team, and all indications are that Justin Harrell, Nick McDonald, Lee, Quarless, and Crabtree are all in. If they're going with 5 WR's, looks like Swain is in too.
Oh, Spitz is sticking around. I guess they didn't get any offer they liked for him. Can't hurt to have the extra depth, I'd rather them just keep him for that then just go ahead and trade him for less than he's worth. Should be a deep O-line.

blackmons knee must be troublesome to cut him. although my guess is no one picks him up and he stays. now i wonder who will return kicks. im glad to see zombo make the roster, as my guess is he will start opposite matthews. and with lumpkin gone, they must like kuhns ability to run the ball behind grant/jackson.

I'm glad to see that Zombo made it too, but I don't think he'll start, I think it'll still be Jones...Zombo backing him up.

This means Jordy white boy Nelson will be returning kicks. As for punts I have no idea, maybe B. Jacks?

I think Tramon has done it well in the past but given our CB depth right now I wouldn't do it. I hated every time I saw Woodson back returning punts. Still think it'll end up being Shields returning punts.

I hope so.. I know Tramon can do it, but I dont like having starters back there unless its a crucial time in the game. As far as Jordy Nelson goes, not a fan. He is stiff and has never made a guy miss as far as I can remember. Sure, he has straight line speed, but that isnt going far with our piss poor blocking. I'm still sour about letting Blackmon go.

thats fine. he is serviceable to returner with sure hands. so unless shields learns over night how to field punts, im ok with it.

Oh don't get me wrong, I think Tramon is the best man for the job on the roster, just going to be nervous every time he is back there because of the injury risk.
