2011 Fantasy Football

Postby sedgy145 on Aug 18th, 2011, 11:54 am

It's time. Fantasy Football, Year 2.

Similar to last year, such as two QB's, points for each reception, points deducted for interceptions and fumbles plus fumbles lost. I added a bonus point structure for RB and WR for any 40+ yd TD rush and TD reception -- 4 extra points. And for the time being, I have gotten rid of any type of waiver system. As it stands, every player is a free agent after the draft. I figure we all watch the games and we're always on our computers on Sundays, so it's first come, first serve to free agents. I am open to having a waiver system based on standings, but it should start after the first four weeks of the season. This will avoid any type of waiver fiasco after the first week and a team simply having a terrible week getting the #1 waiver priority....but in reality, having a great team already. Thoughts?

Either way, see you on the league page. And if people talk about stuff pertaining to the league, keep it on there. It's better to have banter on the league page.

Best of luck!

I quit my job and my new job works me half as many hours (for more pay!), so I can do the league this year.

I thought we already had 12.

14 isn't bad, thought we had 13 originally intended anyways and someone was going to get left out. Might have to alter the rosters a bit though, someone already brought up that even with only 12, 2 QB's per team would stretch it think early.

Can you please move the draft up 1/2 a day? I'm a day ahead, and if we are doing live draft, as it sits right now, the draft is at 4:15am my time on Monday. If you have a saturday draft, I can draft at any reasonable time (I am 14 hours ahead of Central time). If you insist on the Sunday...at least do it around 8:30pm so I can attend during the hour break I have at that time.

Is it a snake draft or a straight 1-12 each round?

I'm #2 pick in both my drafts lol. Both 12 man drafts, my teams will probably look eerily similar.
