Get ready for what? A 6-month prostate exam known as a season w/o much talent or hope?

A. Shut up Goat. Baseball is always a beautiful thing to look forward to.

B. I usually don't start thinking about ST until post-Super Bowl, but I am excited to see the new look of this team, and what some of the new acquisitions have to offer. Regardless of our record in 2012, I think we should all have a new hope for this team.

hahaha! The drunken greek drinking version? :D
If I end up in a snow bank, you'll know who to blame.

On a serious note: I'm losing my mind anticipating ST and the Cubs.

 I didn't want to say anything but Goat is a kill joy. He always has to be negative and ruin it. I'm actually very excited which is why I jumped the gun and started this thread a little early.

I have new expectations and ready to see some fresh faces on this team. For once, I'll be excited to see us suck, as odd as that sounds. We finally what this team is. Unlike previous years where it could have gone either way. We weren't bad enough to completely suck but we weren't good enough to compete. Even though Hendry thought we were.

I completely agree. I'm also "looking forward to us sucking" as in, what it represents: a fresh start and a change of philosophy at Wrigley. I'm anticipating watching the young guys improve together and the team to slowly get better each year until (hopefully) we can see a true Cubs Dynasty.

What I say besides the truth? I'm sorry the Pack and Badgers football choked and badgers b-ball sucks and that's all you got to look forward to but it is what it is.

that might be the worst response ever. the packers played awful(not a choke job), the badgers won the big ten and played in the rose bowl(not a choke job) and the basketball team will go to the tournament for the 14th consecutive year, which is the 4th longest streak in the nation. yeah, im really hurting. and i ALWAYS enjoy cubs baseball. so again, eat my shit

Pack didn't choke? 15-1, supposedly the best QB in football with the best offense in football HFA and got your asses kicked at Lambeau. Wisconsin football couldn't even beat a 6-7 Ohio State team.

Goat, the pissy attitude doesn't help, and save the "I'm only telling the truth" nonsense.

Betroit, I owe you a huge apology for last night, was tired and really irritable and what I said was uncalled for and not even close to topic. My post about the prostate exam was sarcasm I am also kind of looking forward to this year cause for the first time since I think 02 I have no expectations so ill be pretty care-free and more relaxed.
