Bears receiver Sam Hurd arrested last night in Chicago on federal drug charges out of Dallas, according to Dallas Morning News.

The report says that Sam Hurd met with an undercover Homeland Security agent at a restaurant on W. Bryn Mawr Ave at 7:40 last night

Sam Hurd told undercover agent he wanted to purchase 5-10 kilograms of cocaine & 1,000 pounds of marijuana a week to distribute in Chicago

Hurd told undercover agent that he and a co-conspirator currently distribute 4 kilograms of cocaine in Chicago area but it wasn't enough

Hurd then accepted a kilogram of cocaine from the undercover agent, placed it in his vehicle, and then was subsquently arrested

Hurd was DISTRIBUTING. That is a HUGE difference than doing some drugs with some buddies for recreation. Millions of dollars worth of drugs. Come'on man. I can see if you are in the ghetto and making the money is the difference between your baby momma having to give HJ'ers in the alley for baby formula, or not...but...for a NLF player to risk millions of dollars in football money, and decades in prison? Moronic.
