i guess it depends on how big his hands are. brett favre played like a half season with a broken thumb. he was not all that great either when it happened.
You look like Babe Ruth's gay brother, Gabe Ruth.

skjensen Sean Jensen #Bears QB Jay Cutler did break thumb in his throwing hand. And while there will be more tests, there is a fear that it could end his season

Well, it was a fun ride...... A couple weeks, we could of survived. Rest of season? Were fucked.

If they are talking about him being out for the season then there is probably more than just the bone being broken. That could mean ligament damage.

Thumb injuries suck...you're immobilized in a cast for 4-6 weeks and then need therapy afterwards.
If everything goes good, Cutler may be able to make it back for the 2nd round of the playoffs or something like that.

If we make it that far with Hanie.

That's the timetable if he needs a screw/plate placed, otherwise they could pull a Stafford or Big Ben

vxmcclure23 vaughn mcclure Two sources confirm that Cutler will be sidelined for 6 to 8 weeks, but the Bears have no plans to place him on injured reserve.
vxmcclure23 vaughn mcclure Essentially, Cutler could return for the playoffs if the Bears are able to keep pace behind Caleb Hanie.

LaurenceWHolmes Laurence Holmes 10 usually gets you in. Can Bears go 3-3 in last 6 w/ Hanie at the helm? With defense, Special Teams & Forte, it's not out of the question.
Yeah expect 10 wont get it done this year. I think 11 is the magic number. We can win vs the Chiefs and Seahwaks with Hanie. Broncos should be a win too. Need to find one more.
