GT - Get away day?

Postby shirt on Apr 14th, 2011, 2:20 pm

What the hell, lets get a Thursday day game here. Now the Brewers have to travel late and I'm stuck at work with no Brewers or White Sox games to make the day go by.

I love day games... Nothing like getting paid to watch the Brewers.
Accomplishments:
2010 - NFL Pick'em regular season & playoff champion
2011 - BC Dynasty Baseball league regular season champion

Words of Wisdom:
(1) You can only speak in absolutes if your name begins with "Fan." (2)Strikeouts are not of any importance for hitters; however, high K's for a pitcher are.

Might as well make this the GT..

Here is the Brewers' lineup:

2B Rickie Weeks
CF Carlos Gomez
LF Ryan Braun
1B Prince Fielder
3B Casey McGehee
SS Yuniesky Betancourt
RF Erick Almonte
C Jonathan Lucroy
LHP Randy Wolf

This match-up will provide an acid test as to just how how Fielder is at the plate. He enters the game with a six-game hitting streak, during which he is batting .545 with three home runs and 14 RBI. But the Pirates are starting left-hander Paul Maholm, against whom Fielder has three hits in 42 career at-bats for a measly .071 batting average. That includes 13 strikeouts. So, we'll see if Fielder can stay hot even against Maholm.

Riiiight, Sven. Telling your customers exactly how to do everything and not giving them OPTIONS is the best way to do it. You know what that's called? A DICTATORSHIP. And you're the one stupid enough to buy into it.
