He was and he did beat it(or he got there at the same time). So fucking close though. Fucking A, Gomez is looking like a real big leaguer right now...kinda shocking. He's not a liability, he's taking pitches...could VERY easily have two more hits tonight. One on the fucking rope down the 3rd base line that Johnson made a diving play on and that bunt.
