Yea its always nice to beat down teams, but you really never know vs shit competition.

He's good, too. He lit up our secondary last week. We were missing quite a few key players, especially on defense so it we didn't get much of a pass rush, but they are pretty good squad.

Huge win!! I wouldn't be shocked to see them not crack the Top 25, but the'll certainly be in that top 30 class and right now, they're looking like the third best Big Ten team behind Wisconsin and Nebraska. <--- Open to debate...

DEFENSE BABY!!! What a win, so proud of our D tonight. 6 sacks on Osweiler or whatever his name is. Im not sure if I'd put as that high yet, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan, and even though they lost today, OSU/MSU will play well in conference play. Its great to see a good start for once though!

Nice win for Illinois. Definitely in the running for that 3rd slot in the Big 10, with Ohio State really struggling the last 2 weeks and Michigan State looking pretty bad today.

I'm a little worried about this weeks game versus Northwestern. NU has had two weeks to prepare and they kept Persa out of the game against Army. It definitely cost them because of the loss, but Illinois has no idea what to expect with Persa and the corresponding gameplan with Persa under center....and Colter being used occasionally and even running. This outcome is a 50/50, but Illinois favored by 8.5? I'd take NU with the spread.
