Who you guys got? I have the Miami Heat in 6 games. I said the East would win the NBA Title before playoffs started, and even though I thought it would be the Bulls there, I'm sticking with it. Heat 4-2.

But I hope the Mavs win it. GO MAVS!

Yeah, it really kills me to pick them, but from what I've seen I had to. I'm rooting my ass off for Dallas though, no doubt about that. As I'm sure everyone outside of Miami is.

Mavs. I want Dirk to get his ring.

Speaking of, is he the greatest player to ever not win a championship?

Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, and John Stockton also would fall into that argument. Hell, you could throw Lebron into that ring as well.

I'll take the Heat in 6. 5 if Wade got at all healthy since the Bulls series.

I think it's LeBron James fairly easy. That may change very soon, unfortunately.

Officiating continues to blow monkey cock. How many times does LeBron have to moonwalk to get the travelling call?

Stern isn't going to allow the Heat to lose.

Miami is the better team. Dallas played tough, but I have this feeling Dirk will be just like Rose last round. Well he won't play nearly as bad, but I have a feeling he may not get the help he needs. JET wasn't there tonight, and I don't think anyone really was besides Marion.

Barkley is the greatest player to never win a championship in my book. I remember Bill Simmons in his Book of Basketball when ranking the players all time, he has Malone right ahead of Barkley due to Malone's longevity somewhere in the late teens.

IMO Barkley is underrated for his peak. People forget now that he was clear and away the best play at his position for a number of years and the best player in the NBA not named Michael Jordan during that time. What tilts the Malone vs Barkley argument for me is Malone had an all time great on his team with Stockton and still couldn't get it done. Barkley never had the same help.

LeBron hasn't passed Barkley yet, but he will. LeBron should be a top 3 player of all time when his career is over but he'll have a few rings by then as well.

As for Dirk, his 2006 Finals collapse and following 2007 season where his #1 seed Mavs got ran out of the building by the #8 Warriors can't be ignored. He's resurrected himself & the team this year exorcising some of those demons but w/o a championship he should always be remembered for that collapse. There's no way I take Dirk over Barkley or LeBron until he redeems himself & wins a championship... but then he'd be out of the discussion.

I don't get your guys hatred of LeBron (or the rest of America's).... No one outside Chicago believed LeBron was going to the Bulls. There was never a "Lebron is going to Chicago" source. Even though I thought Chicago was the smartest place to go because of the supporting cast, all rumors were Heat was his top choice and then Cavs were still in the running, no Bulls Nets or Knicks... until he finally made "the decision." It was just homer fans & sports radio driving up your hopes - if anything shouldn't your hatred be directed in that direction?

what exactly is your problem with him? was it the decision & Miami celebration? because that was stupid, but only Cleveland can really be upset over that. They should have had a heads up from Lebron that he was leaving before finding out on National TV. Once again, all the inside info had Chicago out of the running by then... it's not like he stabbed Chicago in the back like Cleveland can argue. Sources said Miami almost a week before the decision happened.

Is it because he joined up with another player that was top 3 in the NBA and lacked the balls to do it by himself? because Jordan had Pippen (a top 15 player of all time). Shaq had Kobe then he had Wade. Kobe had Shaq then Gasol. Magic had Kareem & Worthy. Bird had Parrish/Walton, & McHale. Duncan had Ginobli & Parker.

Very rarely in NBA history did 1 elite player win a title single handedly, and not since 1994 Rockets w/Hakeem, plus if Jordan didn't go play baseball I don't think that ever happens.

Who did LeBron have in Cleveland? Mo Williams? Look how bad the Cavs were this year.. Lebron was worth 50 wins to that team by himself, the rest of the team couldn't even win 20. If Cleveland built a real team around him instead of a shit team, he's probably still a Cav, and they would have multiple titles by now. Same reason I won't get upset if/when Dwight leaves Orlando. Otis Smith is a terrible GM, just as bad as Danny Ferry was in Cleveland, if not worse. I can't blame the guy for knowing his teammates suck, are wasting his prime & for knowing he needs help no matter how good he is. Can't blame him for wanting to win a title instead of be the best player of a team that's full of scrubs and can't win anything...

People don't hate the "basketball" part of LeBron James. Most people, including myself, respect him and how good he is. People hate the "off the court" LeBron James. The guy is a fucking douche. Who the fuck goes on National TV to announce where they are signing in Free Agency? No one does it, that's who. LeBron thinks he's the best human on Earth, and while he is arguably the best player int the NBA (not sure if there is any argument anymore), he carries that attitude with him off the court. We get it, you are good at basketball and make way more many the most of us will ever make.

Another example, this season after Cleveland got spanked by the Lakers on a late night TNT Thursday game or whatever it was, what do you see on Sports Center the next morning?

http://www.aolnews.com/2011/01/12/lebro ... loss-to-l/

That which says something like Karma's a bitch and whatnot. He purposely did that directed towards Cleveland after their terrible loss. And then he denies it! LOL, the douche comes out in him again, he denies it, but what a coincendence that tweet came RIGHT after Cavs got beat by Lakers 112-59.

As far as coming to the Bulls you must have missed a few days last summer. Chris Broussard reported for multiple days that James had Chicago as "his #1 choice." Of course we had no other option than to get really excited and really hopeful only to be disappointed because as you said, it looks like Miami was the decision a while before his dumb ass 1 hour special. Stephen A. Smith reported all 3 in Miami I think 3 or 4 days before and he nailed it. But it was decided way before then even.

No problem with him going to Miami, he was a Free Agent, it was his decision. It was how he did it. I couldn't imagine being a Cavalier fan watching the Finals.
