Word is a couple Miami Heat players were crying in the locker room after yesterday's loss (Coach Splatstra...whatever his name is...said so).
A couple things here:
1. First, it somewhat depends on who was crying, and why (if it wasn't done solely because they lost a game...say, if a player got singled out for costing the team the game for 1 bad play).
2. If it was any of the "Big 3" that was crying, I have no sympathy for you whatsoever. The 3 of you (along with Pat Riley) conspired for who knows how long to be able to sign with the same team and create what you believed would be an unbeatable dynasty. Above that, if James (moreso than the others) was doing any crying, I actually laugh at you for it. It was YOU who made such a media frenzy over where you were going to sign, and your arrogance disgusts me. You claimed you had 'no help' and couldn't win a title by yourself. Now, even when it's obvious to CASUAL fans that Wade is the 'clutch' performer on YOUR team, you insist (either that, or your coach is just that stupid) on taking the big shot. You want something to cry about, cry that YOU aren't living up to your own hype.
On a somewhat unrelated note: If I hear one more person defend Bosh, Wade and James by stating how much money the 'left on the table' so all three could sign with the Heat I'm going to lose it. First off, anybody who gets a contract worth over $100 million shouldn't need to worry about leaving money on the table. Second, with how much endorsement cash is there for the taking, I think even they should be able to get by. Third, if those 3 are really sacrificing so much, what are all the role players doing who joined the Heat for half or LESS of what they could have made elsewhere doing? They were led to believe a championship was there for the taking. If anybody on that team is sacrificing, it's them, not the guys who get all the glory when things go well, not to mention the endorsements.
I'm actually shocked that Riley hasn't fired the coach and taken over yet. I wonder if the reason why is because not even he thinks he can fix the mess he created...
