Nah, according to the Bulls fans, injuries don't count. Unless it's to there own team. They pound their chest about beating the Heat by 3 with Lebron out all game, and Bosh out in the 4th with an injury. And are quick to point out that Noah isn't playing when they beat the Celtics, yet fail to mention that Garnett is out for the Celtics.

But they'll quickly remind you how Boozer missed some time early in the season.

And the Bucks are the only team that has had injuries right? We've played almost the whole season without one of Boozer and Noah. First it was Booz, now it's Noah. Good teams don't use injuries as an excuse.

Damn straight we are going to be proud of beating Boston and Miami in a week's span. Who the hell wouldn't? Like I just said, every team has to deal with injuries. That's part of the game, the good teams overcome their injures with their good depth.I understand the Bucks have injuries. So do the Bulls. So do the Heat. So do the Celtics.

Looks more and more likely when I said the Bucks would be a .500 team.

You better believe I'll cheer when the Bulls beat the Celtics and Heat. Even without Garnett for the Celtics and Lebron for Miami, the Bulls still had to play their best basketball just to win close games. It's a testament to the caliber each of Boston and Miami are.

I don't know when I've seen many Bulls fans being douches about the victories, let alone using injuries as a lame excuse. Yeah, we've had some pretty bad injuries to two of our three best players, but I've seen people who acknowledge certain players missing.

Haven't had the Bulls had worse injuries to more key players and thus, more missed games, than Milwaukee has?

No Boozer and no Noah today and still win. Not many teams can lose their entire starting front court and win. Our starting lineup had Kurt Thomas, Taj Gibson, and Keith Bogans in it :P

Losing Boozer/Noah is nothing compared to losing Bogut/Jennings/Delfino/Gooden/Maggette. The Bucks have lost 5 out of their best 7 players for extended periods of time. No team is going to be good when you lose that many guys. It would be like the Packers this year if they had also lost Rodgers AND Woodson.

not even fucking close. the bucks have had a combination of(atleast 2 of these guys) bogut, jennings, delfino, gooden, and maggette out for the entire season so far. they haven't even taken the court with what they wanted to be the starting 5 for the season yet. show me a team that would be close to good without 5 or 6 of their top 7 players even playing. so, please come back when you are consistently playing games without a combination of boozer, noah, rose, deng.

Nicely done, shut them up pretty good in this thread.

Also, take a closer look at the standings. Bucks have played 24 games against teams over .500, Minnesota has played the most with 25. Chicago, way back with only 17. So besides the injuries, the Bucks have played a clearly harder schedule.

Then look closer at the Bulls' record breakdown. 8-9 against teams over .500, 21-5 against teams under .500. Maybe they're not as good as some would like to think, but are mostly benefited by being a consistent team against inferior competition that won't help after the 1st round of the playoffs? Something I'd definitely be worried about if I was a Bulls fan.

You play the schedule out the way they make it. Everyone in the Central division plays the same schedule. We all play the same opponents the same number of times.

As far as the playoffs, the Bulls getting to the 2nd round would be a goal met for us. We haven't been to the 2nd round since we swept the defending champs Miami Heat in 2006. Getting to the 2nd round right now is the goal, after that we can only hope...unless of course the Bulls acquire a true scorer at the 2 guard, then I think we'd have ECF expectations.

Either way, the 2nd round looks like it will be exciting. Bulls-Heat-Celtics-Magic

That's how it goes. You do about .500 vs the top teams and dominate the rest. That's how the NBA's been for years. Look at some of the other "elite" teams vs .500 teams or better

Miami - 8-10
Orlando - 7-12
Lakers - 7-6
OKC - 11-10

This really isn't an argument or a dumb one if you actually are making this a point. San Antonio and Boston are the only teams with impressive records vs +.500 teams. Does that make them the only good teams this year?

Oh and Dallas is 15-8. Missed them the 1st time. But, Bulls are 2-0 vs them.
